Giff`s Steakburger in Redding

I felt like I was having lunch in some guys man cave. IF you've not had a burger here, you simply must! My husband and I both enjoyed our burgers and fries. Great quality and tasty!!

They have the best hamburger topping bar where you put what you want on it. Great people and great food.

I meet with friends this lovely spot a lot! This is my favorite spot to to have a good dinner. I go there at least once a month. The cooking is fantastic, the crew is polite and the price is fair. I like going in this restaurant for a tasty meal.

This place is my favorite. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The crew is very welcoming and the food they serve is so yummy. I am always happy to have a decent meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Good old fasion food and service

From the reviews I was expecting an amazing burger, especially for $7. It was just OK. The meat is fresh and patties are hand made. Skimpy on the cheese. I'm bad at making decisions so the build your own burger bar wasn't a draw for me. I could see how others would love it. Lots of fresh choices to put on your burger. Overall - not bad, but I probably won't go back.

Great food. Only problem was the waitress who was sweeping the carpet while we were sitting in our booth and dust flying. Not so great

This is a great place to visit just for the nostalgia on the wall. An old school "fast food" burger joint. Dick is an absolute character. Everyone I have taken as a visitor to this place has loved it. Grab an UGLY BURGER as it is the flagship item on the menu.

First time visitor and it was excellent, great burger! I will be back and bring my family soon

Great place for a tasty burger for lunch. Had the ugly burger. It is unusual shape but equivalent to a double burger in size but in a single layer.

This is a true 5-star experience if you like down home cooking. I'm talking about burgers and steak fries fresh off the barbecue made to order. I'm not talking about potatoes and gravy.This is kind of a manly atmosphere with NASCAR stuff on the walls and beer signs on the walls 2 this is definitely somewhere you want to take your Bros.This dude's been in business forever he's a good guy and he has a lots of stories.And the food is made fresh and it's very very good you won't be disappointed !!!

A fun place. Leave your personal inclination to be offended in your pocket. EVERYONE gets teased, no exceptions. Food is great, the condiment bar is second to none. One of my favorite places for 40 years.

Warm, friendly environment and staff. I was disappointed with my burger, though. The meat was delicious but not put together in the kitchen. You build it at a condiment bar which I didn't care for.

Awful environment. I have lived in Redding for 3+ years and love it. Happened upon this place and had an terrific hot dog. But as I sat there eating, 3 men were talking loudly to the owner and making some pretty disgusting remarks about women. I tried to ignore them, but it was literally them and me in the place. Thinking it was a "fluke", and having loved the hot dog, and the amazing condiment table, I went back just last week. Almost 6 months after 1st experience. While the food was great, as was the service, the same local yokels were there. As I quietly ate my lunch and checked my email, they piped up. Lots of comments about women lying about sexual harassment. I don't know if they are deaf or trying to make sure everyone there wants to be, but I'm not returning nor encouraging anyone to go there.

This place is real cool and the owner runs this place him self and is a real character that that makes this place fun. They cook the burgers on a open fire right in front of you and you get it how you want. Then there is this great condament bar that you get all the fixings at and build your own burger. Also they have beer and the place is all decked out with nascar diecast. Check this place out great atmosphere and killer good food

Best burger in town. Charcoal cooked by a grumpy old man the way you like it. Fixings bar so you can put exactly what you want on it. Great prices for the quality of food you get. I go every Saturday and get an ugly burger.

Service was good. Lunch time had the place full of regulars. Prices are not unreasonable for what you get. The Sandwich Bar, is very well stocked and has just about anything you would want on a burger right there at your finger tips.

This guy is rude and offensive. But I guess that’s part of this crusty old place’s “charm”.
